As part of the JC2033 movement, Pierre-André Léchot launched a unique initiative in French-speaking Switzerland, Paths of Hope. Hiking trails unlike any other, they walk at the intersection of body, heart, and senses.

A group of 30 leaders from around the world meets in New York every year. They talk about global strategies and evaluate everyone's commitment toward 2033 and the “New York Commitment”.

JC2033 is a movement resolutely focused on the central event of the Christian faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is not just one episode among many, but the very foundation of Christian hope.

During two visits to Bethlehem in 2025, in April and then in October, Martin Hoegger met with local actors involved in the life of the city and its region. Among them was Zoughbi Zoughbi, director of the Wi'am Center and now an enthusiastic ambassador for the JC2033 project. Through exchanges with religious leaders, women, and young people, a poignant portrait of the region emerges: a territory marked by uncertainty and exodus, but also one that carries a deep hope, nourished by the resurrection of Christ and the desire for a peaceful future.

As Easter 2033 approaches, Lent once again becomes a special time to unite faith and concrete commitment. Through the "Offering Calories for Life" initiative, JC2033 invites everyone to prepare for Easter not only with words, but also with actions that nourish and unite.

From November 18 to 25, 2025, a trip took me and Olivier Fleury through Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Taxila, opening a window onto the Church in Pakistan. Ten stops revealed a contrasting picture: social fragility and persecution on the one hand, creativity, courage, and hope on the other.

On November 15, 2025, JC2033 had the opportunity to participate in the One' Conference in Bulle, an unmissable event. The JC2033 team, led by Olivier Fleury, who was also a speaker that day, had to be there, true to its DNA: unity, witness, and celebration.
