JC2033 is taking part in the “Pasqua Together 2025” (Easter together 2025) initiative, inviting people to mark the year when the date of Easter is common to all Christians. This is an important step toward the Jubilee of 2000 years since the resurrection of Jesus Christ is in 2033. During a visit to Jerusalem at Easter this year, I was able to meet the local players in this initiative, after walking the Emmaus Way with some fifty young people.

After the Global Christian Forum meeting in Accra, Ghana, Olivier Fleury and Martin Hoegger headed to neighboring Togo for a few visits. Read about JC2033's first visit to Togo!

Olivier Fleury and Martin Hoegger were invited to take part in the fourth gathering of the Global Christian Forum (GCF) in Accra, Ghana, in April 2024. On this occasion, numerous contacts were established with church and movement leaders. The vision of a common witness for the 2000 years since Christ's resurrection was communicated.

Imagine 3,000 brothers and sisters in Christ from all generations, denominations and cultures praising our Lord together. Sound familiar?

In February, 160 Christian leaders representing 120 mission movements in 60 countries gathered in Krakow. The aim was to prepare for the 2000th anniversary of Jesus' Resurrection. Founder of JC2033, Olivier Fleury was encouraged by the unity experienced among denominations. He was also encouraged by the fact that more and more Christian organizations are focusing on the year 2033.
