Last April, the JC2033 team traveled to Mongolia with the goal of establishing a national team of ambassadors in the country. No fewer than seven people flew to the land of Genghis Khan. And God opened doors for encounters we could never have imagined.

As part of the JC2033 World Gathering in Geneva on February 27, 2025, a roundtable discussion brought together four Christians from different churches. The theme was the importance of Christian unity on the path leading to the 2000th anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Last February, more than two hundred Catholic, Orthodox, Reformed and Evangelical Christians from 35 countries participated in the “Light to the Nations” Conference, organized in Geneva by JC2033. Philippe Bury, a member of the FREE board of directors, came away from the conference with the question, “What are we going to do to celebrate the 2000th anniversary of the Resurrection of Christ in 2033?”

Imprisoned in Iran because of her faith, Sara Akhavan, a Muslim who became a Christian, now lives in Spain. Since her conversion, she has devoted her life to evangelizing her compatriots, in Iran and abroad, and bearing witness to the harassment to which converts are subjected in her country.

A delegation from “Pasqua Together 2025”, affirming the centrality of the resurrection of Christ for the Christian faith, visited the World Council of Churches (WCC) on 27 February 2025, during the JC2033 International Gathering in Geneva. Jerry Pillay, the general secretary, affirmed that a common celebration of Easter would be a profound testimony to the resurrection of Christ.
