February 17th  - 19th 2020, we met several leaders of Churches and Movements in Norway to share the vision of the initiative, "Jesus Celebration 2033" (JC2033). An invitation to a pilgrimage towards 2033, the jubilee of the 2000th Anniversary of the Resurrection of Christ. Attending a meeting of the Christian Council of Churches was the peak of these intense days. 

It all started in Jerusalem, almost 2000 years ago! Two disciples of Jesus were walking on a path when He joined them. From January 25 to February 2, 2020, we were 31 people of various origins walking towards (the) Emmaus. A great experience of communion as part of, “ The Week of Prayer for Unity,” in Jerusalem! A beautiful invitation, too, to walk together with Him towards 2033!

Two weeks before the famous Carnival, on Saturday February 8, 2020, waves of young people converged simultaneously on three stadiums to live twelve hours of praise and teaching and to be empowered for  world mission, through a National Campaign at the "The Send Brazil".

 We had a blessed time at "Light up the World" from November 26th to 29th at "Bethanië Christelijke Kerk" Brussels, Belgium. This year’s focus was on equipping the delegates of the 15 countries, to be able to return to their home countries as Ambassadors of Jesus Celebration 2033. We were pleased to reach our goal of 80 participants; 43 international delegates attended for the duration of the entire gathering.

During the general assembly of the World Evangelical Alliance in Jakarta in Indonesia, Olivier Fleury, founder and president of JC2033, received from the secretary-general, Éphraïm Tendero, an honorary distinction.

This article describes my experience in Munich, where I spent a few days sharing the initiative of Jesus Celebration 2033. My first two chronicles help to discover the rich ecclesial diversity of this beautiful city. The third is in Ottmaring and Augsburg where I participated in the meeting for Together for Europe.

In early June, a JC2033 team to visit various churches and communities in Paris. After five days of intense visits, we are grateful for all these encounters. We dream that this project will become that of the Churches of Paris and all of France. Here are some echoes of the welcome we received.

Invited by Benoît-Dominique de la Sougeole, professor (Dominican) of dogmatic theology at the University of Fribourg, Olivier Fleury was able to present the vision of JC2033 to 26 students.

From the 23rd to 30th of March 2019, Olivier Fleury and Martin Hoegger made about twenty visits to church leaders and communities in Egypt. The welcome was warm and sometimes even enthusiastic.  Here is the chronicle of this amazing stay written by Martin Hoegger.
