In the center of Cartagena is the Cloister of Santo Domingo. A beautiful place – founded in 1533 (!), dear to the hearts of Catholics in this beautiful city. At the beginning of the gathering organized by JC2033, Archbishop Francisco Javier Munera invited the participants to experience a time of prayer.

110 Christian Leaders, representing 79 organisations in 22 countries, met in Rome from February 3 to 5 for the Global 2033 Initiative. They were responding to the invitation of Henry Cappello, founder of the Caritas in Veritate Mission and Executive Director of Global 2033. The topic was world evangelization for the decade 2023-2033.

The initiative "Easter Together 2025" focuses on the decisions of the Council of Nicaea, with,  first of all, a call to find unity around the date of Easter. It also calls for a common vision to witness to the Resurrection of Jesus, as the Council of Nicaea defined the Christian Faith by placing the Resurrection of Christ at its centre.

More than two dozen ministry leaders of significant global networks convened Dec. 5-6 in New York City to combine their experience and insights toward the goal of Great Commission fulfillment within the next decade.

During the week of 20-30 January 2023, Martin Hoegger and Daniel Fatzer participated in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Each evening they participated in the prayer of a church in the old city, which opens its doors for a prayer for unity. They also visited several leaders and families to reflect with them on a "pilgrimage to 2033" in Jerusalem.

Last May, a delegation from JC2033 composed of Aurore Girardet, Daniel Gonvers and Olivier Fleury met with several church and movement leaders in the United States of America. Martin Hoegger followed most of the meetings by videoconference.

Brother Alois, the Prior of the Taizé Community wrote to us asking that JC2033 participate in the preparation of a "Gathering of the people of God", which should take place in October 2023, in Rome, as a stage of the "synodal journey". of the Catholic Church. This ecumenical prayer, especially with young believers, will express our common belonging to the Risen Christ.

Nearly 65 people gathered at the Chemin Neuf Community in Rawdon for a day of encounters, sharing, and discovery. Reformed, Evangelical, Catholic and Orthodox Christians from 3 months old to almost 80 years old, started the day of November 19th by raising the name of Jesus without forgetting the presence of our friends from l'Arche.
