Jerusalem, September 21. This morning, as we left our inn, near the Damascus Gate, there were almost no cars. This is a double holiday: Roch Hachana (Jewish New Year) coincides this year with Raas Assana (the Muslim New Year). Even triple, as the UN set this day as the International Day for Peace.

Jerusalem, September 20. "My first reaction is that 2033 is far away. Here we have many daily commitments, short-term projects work, we do not know what will happen tomorrow. But your project is magnificent. Such a perspective will stimulate us to witness together the resurrection of Christ and work towards peace. Let’s stay in touch."

It all began in Jerusalem, almost 2000 years ago, when one morning a woman came back from a tomb and announced to eleven dumbfounded men, "He is risen!" So we had to go to Jerusalem to share the vision of "Jesus Celebration 2033".

At the assembly of the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) in Leipzig in July, Martin Hoegger participated as an accredited journalist. A great opportunity to share the vision of "Jesus Celebration 2033" with delegates from reformed churches spanning 100 countries. Here is a brief Reformed world tour!

Ukraine is undoubtedly a laboratory for the Jesus Celebration 2033 movement. So much diversity, so much dynamism and potential within so many pressures in this beautiful Ukraine, so complex and so wounded by tears of all kinds that we visited in early June 2017.

For a whole week, a Swiss delegation traveled to Moscow to present to various Christian Churches in Russia's capital city the Jesus Celebration 2033 project, which is the 2000-year celebration of the resurrection of Christ.

I traveled to Belgium from May 1-3, 2017 with Olivier Fleury, director of the “Jesus Celebration 2033” Association (JC 2033), which calls on churches to walk together towards 2033, the 2000th anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The former director of Belgium's “Parcours Alpha”, Joseph Hoquet, greets us at the airport and takes us to the Chevetogne monastery, southwest of Brussels.

The aim of this trip with Olivier Fleury, director of the Association, Martin Hoegger and a young couple, Elodie and Rémy Pilloud, was to listen to the different churches (there are many in Lebanon!). How can they give a common witness on the occasion of the 2000th anniversary of Christ's resurrection in 2033?
