Last May, a delegation from JC2033 composed of Aurore Girardet, Daniel Gonvers and Olivier Fleury met with several church and movement leaders in the United States of America. Martin Hoegger followed most of the meetings by videoconference.

Brother Alois, the Prior of the Taizé Community wrote to us asking that JC2033 participate in the preparation of a "Gathering of the people of God", which should take place in October 2023, in Rome, as a stage of the "synodal journey". of the Catholic Church. This ecumenical prayer, especially with young believers, will express our common belonging to the Risen Christ.

Nearly 65 people gathered at the Chemin Neuf Community in Rawdon for a day of encounters, sharing, and discovery. Reformed, Evangelical, Catholic and Orthodox Christians from 3 months old to almost 80 years old, started the day of November 19th by raising the name of Jesus without forgetting the presence of our friends from l'Arche.  

Known as the "Olympics" of the ecumenical world, it would be a pity to underestimate the importance of the World Council of Churches (WCC) General Assembly. Delegates from 352 member churches - representing more than 280 million Christians - are meeting in Karlsruhe, Germany, in early September 2022. It is the largest ecumenical event of this kind in the world.

As part of our short visit to Nepal we were invited to participate at the Nepal Prayer & Revival Conference which took place from 26th – 28th September 2022 and was organised by the NPCl. How wonderful to witness these 180 vibrant Christians whose vision and desire is to share the love of Christ with others!

  "Sorry, I do not have time !" This is exactly the response you expect from a great leader. Laurent Gerber from YWAM Quebec did not give us much hope with his involvement for JC2033, 3 years ago.

A wonderful team, led by Mike Mobley, had concocted a bold, varied and dense program for the JC2033 Swiss Team. They prepared the ground for us, as if we were VIPs. They have housed us, nourished us and richly blessed us. For this trip, Daniel Gonvers and Aurore Girardet accompanied Olivier Fleury on this journey.

The best and the worst are concentrated in this city of sprawling power. The prices are staggering. Some neighborhoods are teeming with people who  are dressed to the nines. In others, practically the  abandoned areas, live the recluses of society, miserably shoving their only possessions into a stolen supermarket trolley

Buenos Aires, an increadible oasis of the Rio de la Plata Delta, the beautiful  capital with its Parisian-inspired architecture, the growing suburbs that cluster along the main roads and the green exteriors of the city where nonchalant horses delight in grassy grass. But it was clearly the warmth of the people that touched us the most.
