From the entrance hall, the tone was set: a hundred national flags welcomed participants, inviting everyone to look forward to 2033! Without a seatbelt, all embarked on a journey across several continents.
Under the guidance of Christine Reymond (Radio R) and Pierre-André Léchot (JC2033 French-speaking Switzerland), the program offered a rich variety of highlights:
- The infectious enthusiasm of Manuel Cerezo, national JC2033 coordinator in Spain
- The depth of the Nicene Creed and the Lord’s Prayer presented by Martin Hoegger
- The excitement in the room during the assembly of a double tower of 50 vegetable crates, symbolizing the spontaneous donations of attendees
- The presentation of the JC2033 team
- A friendly roundtable with Thierry Moehr (pastor at C3 Lausanne), Joël Reymond (co-author of the new book), and Olivier Fleury (author)
- The book signing of “Alors le Monde Croira!”
This meeting was a great success, an encouragement to persevere in faith and, above all, in unity toward 2033. The day ended on a cheerful note, around a cosmopolitan and sunny aperitif prepared by several participants. For those who could not join us this year, we already look forward to seeing you on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM (likely in Lonay).
In Spain, a New Door Opens
Accompanied by his wife Carmen, Manuel Cerezo from Madrid visited our offices in St-Prex. Former Secretary General of the Evangelical Alliance of Madrid, he has a vast network in the capital and across the country—a valuable asset for expanding JC2033 in Europe.
His vision for the next four years:
- Organize a public, high-visibility event every Easter in Madrid
- Deploy JC2033 ambassadors in the 17 regions of Spain by 2026
- By 2029, have three ambassadors per province, covering all 50 provinces of the country, including the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Mallorca, etc.)
