Our march in 2020 on the road to Emmaus is now complete. For more details on our walk in 2021, you will be informed through our newsletter. To receive it, see here:

Almost 2000 years ago, between Jerusalem and Emmaus, two men made an encounter that marked them for life. To prepare for the celebration of the 2000 years of the resurrection of Christ, JC 2033 invites you to walk on this road so significant for all Christians!

  • This walk will be preceded by a day in Jerusalem, in the traditional places of the events of the death and resurrection of Jesus.

  • We want to walk with Christians from Jerusalem and meet the communities on the paths of Emmaus, visiting the various places identified with Emmaus: Motza, Abu Gosh, Nicopolis and El Qubeybe.

  • The walk will be marked by times for sharing and praying.

  • At the end of January, it is the "New Year of the trees", the time when the almond trees blossom, an ideal time (if the weather is nice!) to walk in a beautiful nature (gentle descent from 800m to 200m).

  • This trip will take place during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in Jerusalem. It will also be possible to participate in evening prayers in the churches of the old city.
